We arrive at the finale of Odin Sphere and it's a long one as we've rewind and go about making the right choices of who fights what in order to defy a grisly end to the world...

For a small guide for wanting to see the extended part of the ending you'll need to see every variation to each battle, thankfully you'll only need to fight the first three bosses for the variations, as in the previous part picking any other character than Velvet and then Gwendolyn for the last two fights has the same scene.
A less time consuming way to go about it is for the first runthrough choose: 1st: Velvet, 2nd: Cornelius, 3rd: Gwendolyn, 4th and 5th: Either Mercedes or Oswald.
Second run:
1st: Mercedes, 2nd: Any character except for Cornelius or Oswald, 3rd: Oswald
After the third fight you can exit the book and then choose another character's story then save the game which will reset the progress in Armageddon which you can then restart for the third run.
Third run:
1st: Gwendolyn or Oswald, 2nd: Any except Cornelius or Oswald, 3rd: Velvet or Cornelius
Afterwards do the same as above and reset the Book of Armageddon and go for the true ending.
